After graduating from Adrian High School as valedictorian in 1996, Mark attended Washington University in St. Louis where he captained both the football & baseball teams before moving to the University of Oregon School of Law. Mark graduated from law school in 2003 & moved back to Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1960 and the University of Michigan Law School in 1963. He served as a U.S. Navy JAG legal officer from 1964 through 1967, including one year (1966) in Viet Nam. He established Bruggeman Law Offices in 1968, and has served as a part time Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Lenawee County since 1969.
